Terms of use

Last updated: 16 October 2026. These terms are between you and ("we"). By installing or using TubeMargin you agree to them.

What TubeMargin is

A browser extension that shows YouTube transcripts, helps you send them to AI tools you choose, and exports notes. A free version and a paid Pro version exist.

Your content and third parties

• You are responsible for how you use videos, transcripts and AI output, and for following the terms of YouTube and of the AI service you use.
• Transcripts belong to their creators. Use notes for personal study and reference, and respect copyright.
• AI output can be wrong. Check anything that matters.
• TubeMargin depends on YouTube and AI sites, which can change without notice. We try to keep up, but cannot promise it will always work.

Pro subscriptions and payment

• Pro is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase, through ExtensionPay and Stripe. Current prices are shown at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the payment page TubeMargin opens for you (Options, then Manage), run by ExtensionPay and Stripe; access continues to the end of the period you paid for.
• "Lifetime" means for as long as we offer and maintain TubeMargin. If we ever stop, we will say so well in advance.

Refunds and your 14-day right (EU and UK)

• Whoever you are, contact us within 14 days of buying and we will refund you.
• If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also have a legal right to withdraw from a Pro subscription within 14 days. You lose that right for the part of the service already provided only if you explicitly ask us to start Pro immediately and acknowledge that you lose it once the service has been fully provided. We will not treat your right as waived unless you did that.
• To refund or withdraw, email with the email you bought with.

Acceptable use

Do not use TubeMargin to break the law, to break the terms of the services it connects to, or to try to resell or reverse the Pro licence check.

Warranty and liability

TubeMargin is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or lost-profit losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you cannot lose by law, including your rights as a consumer.
